Sometime between mid-afternoon March 11 and mid-afternoon March 12, at least three “vote yes” for the supplemental levy signs were stolen, one in front of the Hope Marketplace, one at the junction of Main Street and Wellington Place, and one in front of our property on Main Street, all in Hope.

This despicable and cowardly act is a clear violation of the First Amendment to the Constitution. Although I and my neighbors do not know who took these signs, it not hard to speculate who is responsible. Suffice it to say, if your idea of political discussion about important issues includes theft to silence your opponents’ view, you are not an American nor a real Idahoan.
