LEWISTON — Hannah Davidson won the 800 and pole vault, and joined Niah Brass, Dana Beaty and Katherine Kaul in the winning 4X400 relay team to lead the Bulldog girls to a first place finish in the 10 team Lewiston Invitational on Saturday.

With much of the early season spent in a gym, the Bulldogs took advantage of finally getting outside with some solid marks.

“Some very good results for this early in the season, especially considering the track was covered with snow until last week,” said Bulldogs head coach Matt Brass. “There were some great personal records in the long and triple jump, and the relay hand-offs were very crisp. It’s a long trip to Lewiston, but worth it for the weather this time of year.”

Freshman Maddie Morgan jumped a PR of 15’ 9” to place first in the Long Jump, while Sharon Rowe jumped 14’ 7” for 3rd. In the Pole Vault, Hannah Davidson took first with a PR of 8’9”, Sharon Rowe also took 2nd in the Triple Jump in 31’, with Grace Bradley placing 3rd in 29’1”. Elaine Huang was 3rd in the High Jump with a 4’4”, and Victoria Aylward was 3rd in the Shot Put in 29’7”.

Spencer Bassett won the long jump with a PR of 19-5, and was second in the triple jump with a leap of 40-7, and the relays were strong to lead the Bulldog boys to a fourth place finish among 11 teams.

Sawyer Seley was 2nd in the High Jump with a 5’8” jump and Ammon Ollerton was 5th with 5’6”, and Slade Rucker was 2nd in the Pole Vault with a 11’ 6” vault. Zach Alamillo was 4th in the Discus in 115’5”, and 5th in the Shot with 39’7”.
