Our precious children are our future: yet we are failing them. They are not ready for college, they are not prepared for the workforce, they need more vocational training opportunities. With nearly 75 percent of our state budget dedicated to education — not to mention other resources that go to our school funding— why do we come up short when it comes to budgets and provisions for our classrooms? Why are our teachers paying for their own supplies?

We desperately need fresh new expertise these candidates offer on our school boards to help our students and teachers excel.
