In one way or another the local school board election affects us all.

As a parent, you most likely are interested in having the school district provide an excellent education in both college prep and vocational directions to give every student the tools needed to have a successful future.

As a taxpayer, you most likely would like to know that the tax dollars you contribute are being used in the most efficient way possible in order to be able to afford to live in this community.

As a citizen of this community, this state and this nation, you most likely want to turn the reins over to a next-generation that is well-educated, enthusiastic and innovative so that the future of your children and grandchildren will be exciting, fulfilling and bright.

We are very fortunate to have three well-qualified candidates running for three districts in LPOSD school board election who are willing to contribute their knowledge, their business experience and their enthusiasm to help achieve these goals for all of us. Please get out and vote on Tuesday, May 16, for Richard Miller, Anita Perry, and Victoria Zeischegg. Let them get to work for us.
