(Courtesy photo) The U12 Sandpoint Sasquatch opened the travel ball season recently in Pullman vs. the Wheatkings, the first time the team had ever played on a 50 foot mound/70 foot basepath field, and on field turf at that. The Sasquatch lost the first game 17-4, but adjusted to the new game quickly to bounce back and win the second game 12-7. Team members include Mickie Koch, Alex Leverich, Zach Leverich, Koda Coers, Kody MacDonald, Shane Sherrill, Finn Merlander, Ben Stockton, Jack Zimmerman, John Neilsen and A.J. Hirshauer.
