Peace officers memorial set

SANDPOINT — The Bonner County Sheriff’s Office and police departments from Sandpoint and Priest River are hosting a peace officers memorial on Monday, May 15.

It starts at 5:30 p.m. at the sheriff’s office, 4001 North Boyer Road.

The event is meant to recognize officers’ sacrifices are remembered for generations to come and pay tribute to all officers, living and dead, who have dedicated themselves to the protection of life and liberty.
