SANDPOINT POLICE
May 7
An officer responded to assist Bonner County Sheriff’s deputies in the 800 block of Fifth Avenue at 7:55 a.m.
After a report of disturbing the peace at 10:15 a.m., an officer advised there was no plane practicing landing in the lake
when they arrived at 12:44 p.m.
A baby moose was reported separated from its mother in the 400 block of S. Division Avenue at 1:52 p.m.
An officer answered a citizen’s questions in the 700 block of Forest Avenue at 2:44 p.m.
The music coming from a vehicle in the 1500 block of Hemlock was turned off when the officer arrived at 3:08 p.m.; the vehicle owner was issued a verbal warning.
Randi R. Roberts, 26, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 300 block of Forest Avenue on a charge of possession of methamphetamine at 5:25 p.m.
A follow-up report was taken on Spruce Street at 6:19 p.m.
A steel culvert was removed from the roadway in the 100 block on N. Lincoln Avenue at 9:07 p.m. and returned to Avista’s property.
