(Courtesy photo) Tom Timoskevich, right, a logger from Sagle, did the timber harvest for the Sandpoint Kiwanis Club on the 160 acres at Camp Stidwell last year, and recently returned to teach and train some scouts from Troop 111 in the techniques of reforestation. The scouts learned what species to plant for the area, how to plant, and where to plant. Pine and Tamarack were among the 50 trees planted during this session. Timoskevich told the scouts that he hoped they would return in 20 years and tell their children, “I planted those trees”.
