(Courtesy photo) The Wednesday Evening Ladies Golf League will be opening the 2017 season on June 7, with a 5:30 p.m. tee time at the Elks Golf Course. Sharon Parkins, left, and Bobette Dowling were the winners of last year’s league. There is plenty of room in the league, which offers a fun evening each week to get out and play. Golfers of all skill levels and experience are welcome. Players can come early and register prior to the first round on June 7.
