Sandpoint chamber welcomes Idaho Club

| May 24, 2017 1:00 AM

SANDPOINT — The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce celebrated The Idaho Club’s grand re-opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, May 8.

Previously called Hidden Lakes Golf Club, The Idaho Club is the only 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature-designed golf course in Idaho. The new owners of The Idaho Club, Valiant Idaho LLC, announced it plans to build a new club house in 2018, as well as a lake club on Lake Pend Oreille. Renderings featuring the stunning modern mountain architectural buildings were unveiled by Valiant at the media day event, and can be seen on tValiant’s new website.

In addition, Valiant announced that property sales at the all new Idaho Club have commenced. Valiant’s managing member, Bill Haberman, said owners have forged a partnership with Tomlinson Sotheby’s International Realty of Idaho and Washington and Idaho Pinnacle Properties to market the properties for sale at The Idaho Club. Real estate agents Rich Curtis of Sotheby’s and Alex Murray of Idaho Pinnacle Properties will be on property operating out of the temporary club house located at 216 Clubhouse Way, and available to take prospective buyers for a tour of the available lots for sale.

Located just 10 miles east of Sandpoint, The Idaho Club is ideal for golfers who enjoy golfing in the natural habitat as the course offers beautiful views of Schweitzer and showcases the Pack River Delta like never seen before. One of the things that distinguishes The Idaho Club from almost all other resort developments in the Northwest is that the lifestyle offers the “perfect trifecta of outdoor amenities” for all of the seasons. Those amenities include the world-class golf course, access to Lake Pend Oreille, one of the longest, deepest and most pristine tree-lined lakes in all of the Northwest, and a world class ski resort at Schweitzer Mountain. “The Idaho Club offers those interested in an active outdoors lifestyle an endless smorgasbord of opportunities year round,” says Haberman.

The Idaho Club is offering “stay and play” discounts as well as shoulder season rates until May 25, and also offer family and corporate memberships. The Idaho Club is hosting the Sandpoint Rotary Golf tournament on July 28 and the Book Trust Tournament on Aug. 26

The Idaho Club has launched a new website — theidahoclub.com — which enables online bookings for tee times, provides current rate schedules, and enables interested buyers of real estate to sign-up for a tour of the property. That property has been expanded to include almost 60-acres of lake front property at Trestle Creek on Lake Pend Oreille after Valiant closes on an option contract in 2018
