(Courtesy photo) On May 17, the Sandpoint Elks hosted its annual dinner to award scholarships. Selected as community scholarship recipients were Thomas Anselmo, Giovanni Flavel, Anthony Storro, Gabriel Burns, Taran McLaughlin, Olivia Moore, Mitchell Rust, Benjamin Schwartz, Delaney Search, and Lauren Sfeir. Named as Student of the Year was Hannah Fengel. In addition, eight continuing student scholarships were awarded to Corrinne Ariss, Jessica Bomar, Jacob Graham, Logan Hastings, Jamie Rich, Kellie Rich, Megan Rich and Kasey Stearns.
