PONDERAY — The final phase of the North Idaho Medical Village will be complete with the upcoming opening of the Pend Oreille Wellness Center.

The grand opening for the wellness center is scheduled for Nov. 29, 2017. The village was started in 2005 and with this final building, the campus is now completed.

The 14,000-square-foot, two-story wellness center will be home to Woodlands Family Medicine as well as have lease space available for a coffee/juice bar, a pharmacy, and facilities for additional medical providers. The facility, set to open Nov., is the third building in the complex known as North Idaho Medical Village. This new center, 30544 Highway 200, is specifically designed and staffed to provide quality wellness service to residents of the surrounding communities.

Center officials said previously that the opening of Pend Oreille Wellness Center brings many essential services together under one roof, improves continuity of care and convenience for patients, and combines knowledge and practice to become North Idaho’s premier integrated health center.

This group of innovative health care professionals recognizes the need for access to care where you live and is committed to providing excellent communication between all providers of your care. As well, this expansion of health care services in the area will provide job opportunities for medical professionals already living in our community; allowing them to work where they love to live.
