It dies not matter:

- That the ratifiers of the Constitution qualified their approval of the Second Amendment, or

- What the polls indicate is the public’s opinion about gun control, or

- That the Supreme Court made another bad decision that someday it will have to reconsider, or

- What Samuel C. Hogue, the gun lobby, or any gun nut thinks,

The Second Amendment is part of the supreme law of the land and clearly states, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

That means the right to bear arms is conditional upon the necessity of a well-regulated miliitia. Since the government has not seen the necessity to establish a militia, the right to have guns is non-existent, like it nor not.
