Michael Benjamin Barley, 19, died peaceful in his sleep on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, in Hayden, Idaho, after having suffered an epileptic seizure. Mike was diagnosed with epilepsy three years ago.

Mike was born Jan, 29, 1998, at home in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Dave and Martha Barley. Michael was the seventh child the Lord blessed us with and our sixth son. Michael grew up here and attend Northside Elementary, Sandpoint Middle School, and graduated in 2016 from Sandpoint High School.

Michael loved playing soccer and lacrosse and being with his family. He also loved everyone’s children and was quick to always hold anyone’s baby. Mike enjoyed the wonderful outdoors of Idaho and hunting with his dad and brothers. His nephew by only two years, Ryan Barley, was his best friend. He also had many wonderful adventures with his friends and sister and we thank you all for being such a blessing in Mike’s life.

Mike is survived by his parents, Dave and Martha Barley of Sandpoint, brothers, Christopher (Bridgett) Barley of Kennewick, Wash., Sean (Deanna) Barley, Lynnwood, Wash, Patrick (Amanda) Barley, Newport, Wash., Tyler (Rebecca) Barley of Sandpoint, Justin Barley of Sandpoint, and sister, Michelle Barley of Sandpoint.
