SHS seeks help to remove snow

| November 2, 2017 1:00 AM

SANDPOINT — Bulldog athletic director Kris Knowles is closely monitoring the incoming snow storm in Sandpoint.

With forecasts calling for heavy snowfall on Thursday night, SHS is working with the city to come up with a plan to remove the snow from the surface of War Memorial Field and the visitor seating area for the home playoff football game Friday night against Middleton.

With plows not allowed on the grass surface, SHS is hoping to assemble an all-star team of snow removers on Friday at noon. This may include shoveling, snow blowing, leaf blowers and whatever other means necessary to clear the snow.

Sandpoint High School will send out another notice when they know more as the storm develops.
