Adult and youth open gym basketball tips off Sunday

SANDPOINT — Got a Jones for some basketball this winter?

Sandpoint Parks and Recreation has partnered with the Lake Pend Oreille School District to once again offer both Adult and Youth Open Gym Basketball at Sandpoint High School on Sunday afternoons starting on Nov. 12, with open run through March 11 (except Dec. 24 and Feb. 4).

The adults run from 4:30-6 p.m., with an entry fee of $2 per player payable at the door to the Gym Coordinator.

The youth games run from 3-4:30 p.m. and are free to any and all hoopsters from 3rd through 12th grade. Although a gym monitor will be present, this is not a supervised activity.
