Gloria Jean Warren, 77

Gloria Jean Warren, 77, of Eltopia, Wash., passed away Oct. 31, 2017.

She was born May 6, 1940, to Cyrus and Mable Harbison in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Gloria went to school in Sandpoint and attended Upper Columbia Academy in Spangle, Wash.

She married Elmo Warren on June 30, 1957. They had two children, Debra Powell of Sandpoint, and Sunnie Hutton of Cocolalla, Idaho.

Gloria worked alongside her husband planting trees, later building and maintaining high mountain trails all over the United States.

She not only worked on the jobs but was the bookkeeper, camp cook, and all around support for the many crews, friends, and family who were lucky enough to work for them.

She rode horses, crocheted, knitted, put puzzles together with her family, and played games of all kinds when there was time.

She loved the holidays and had a generous and giving heart. Gloria shared a strong faith in God with her husband and was a devoted Seventh-day Advent-ist.

She is survived by her husband, Elmo Warren; three siblings, Janece Kindig, Eston Harbison, and Gary Harbison and their spouses; her nieces and nephews, and their children; and also by their two daughters, Debra Powell and Sunnie Hutton and their spouses, children, and grandchildren .

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cyrus and Mable Harbison; a nephew, Mike Kindig; and a niece, Tina Harbison.

There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1210 Garden St., Sandpoint.

Everyone is welcome to come by and remember Gloria with the family. There will be refreshments.
