I wonder how many brave people saved lives

I hear the song written about my flag

I see my free country every day

I want freedom forever

I am red, white and blue

I pretend to be strong like many soldiers

I feel free when I see the flag

I touch the flag that my country’s proud of

I worry about the half-raised flag

I cry about the brave family members before me

I am red, white and blue

I understand how tired veterans were after the war

I say I am proud to be an American

I dream to see my country’s heroes

I try to be a wonderful student

I hope I can help our country like many others

I am a veteran
