In response to a letter written by Robin E. Helm, M.D., you seem to have left out the youngest victim of the church shooting in Texas, the one in utero. I’m sure your omission was an accident, just like your selective amnesia when it’s time to talk of the good guy with a gun, the bare-foot, ex-instructor for the NRA who used his AR15 to try to prevent further bloodshed.

If you really want outrage at needless death, how about the 926,240 murders at the hands of abortionists every year in the country. I wonder if you recall what these mass shooters have in common, other than firearms? The shooters target “gun-free zones” and the shooters are secular liberals.

How about the third leading cause of death? Well, it’s misdiagnosis. Doc, how do you feel about that? What’s your number, Doc? How about the “man” that rented a death machine, without a background check, a death machine with a fully automatic transmission and high capacity fuel tank and ran down bicyclists and pedestrians?

You call for “common sense” gun laws, I ask you how many more laws do you require before you figure out that a criminal will always find a way to thwart the law. How many, Doc? How about the AR15 in the hands of a righteous man stopping a bad man? Your laws only inconvenience law-abiding citizens. All the liberal laws designed to stop the bad guy from getting arms fail.

So, Doc, tell me again how law and paper stop secular demon-possessed criminals? Luke 22:36 If you do not feel safe, get armed and trained. Only you are responsible for your safety. My number, Doc? It’s two, as in the Second Amendment.
