Nelson, Gaffaney helm LPOIC derby standings

SANDPOINT — Ron Nelson and Jim Gaffaney held the two top spots after two days of action in the Lake Pend Oreille Idaho Club’s Thanksgiving challenge derby.

Nelson is atop the adult rainbow trout standings with a 17.76-pound catch that measured 33 inches. Gaffaney leads the lake trout standings with a Mackinaw that also weighed 17.76 inches.

Stewart Kluver and Jared Jasper round out the top three in the adult rainbow standings. Dave Ivy and Sherrie Belgarde are similarly situated in the adult laker standings.

Isabella Walkington is leading the Youth A division with a 16-pounder and Carly Laybourne tops the Youth B standings with an 11.48-pound catch.
