Bob's named first western SnowDog dealer

SAGLE — Bob’s Yard Machine Repair has been selected as the first dealer of SnowDog utility task machines in the western United States. The news was announced Tuesday by Panhandle Building Contractors Association for its associate members Brody Deal and Torrie Straley, who own Bob’s Yard Machine Repair.

“We are very excited and grateful for this opportunity,” said Brody Deal. “The potential to expand our power sports division will impact our revenue stream and allow us to create more jobs in Bonner County. Plus, these machines are a blast!”

Deal and Straley are active members of the PBCA and in community projects. Their small engine repair shop has become a go-to destination for homeowners, utility vehicle enthusiasts, and builders alike. So much that a second location is in the near future, the pair said.

Expanding the power sports leg of Bob’s Yard Machine Repair, LLC with SnowDog UTMs was a huge first step in achieving that goal.

SnowDog UTMs are stand or sit behind units that are a compact, efficient, and affordable alternative to snowmobiles or all-terrain vehicles. While snow is in the name, these machines perform year round on dry land as well, are perfect for ice fishing, hunting and chores around the property, said Deal and Straley.

Popular in Europe, created with Canadian technology and equipped with an American-made Briggs & Stratton engine, the pair believe this product is just the ticket to expanding their business. In addition to being the first dealer in the western United States, they will become the first company in the U.S. to sell SnowDog online for shipment to customers.

To celebrate, Straley and Deal will be offering Black Friday promotions, online and in the Sagle store.
