Selkirk volunteer firefighters held their annual food drive to benefit Bonner Community Food Center on Saturday Nov. 4. Crews were at Super 1 and Safeway all day and said they were blown away at the community support. Volunteers helped raise $1,660 cash and $1,260 worth of food vouchers at Safeway and 726 pounds of food. The food drive was held specifically to support of the Thanksgiving meal that will help give about 900 community families a wonderful meal this Thanksgiving.
