LOREN BENOIT/Cd’A Press North Idaho College freshman Kayla Neumann led the Cardinals (33-8) with 14 kills and six digs in a season-ending loss to Bellevue in the Northwest Athletic Conference Championships last weekend at the Tacoma Convention Center. The 6-0 outside hitter and former Bulldog earned NWAC Player of the Year honors for her region, making the transition from high school to college with great success.
