7B Women celebrates the holiday season

It’s the holiday season, and 7B Women invites the community to kick it off by attending their December luncheon on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at Tango Café in the Columbia Bank Center. The luncheon will begin at 11:45 a.m.
In continuing with its tradition of a holiday-themed December luncheon, 7B Women will welcome the Sandpoint High School choir to entertain attendees
“This is one of our most popular luncheons throughout the year,” said 7B Women Vice Chair Patty Hutchens. “There is so much talent at our local high school, and it’s always so fun to enjoy the musical entertainment of the choir.”
According to Sandpoint High School Choir Director Jon Brownell, the choir is busy raising funds for their spring trip. “There is a music festival called ‘Festivals at Sea’ where you perform and have the opportunity to attend a clinic with a nationally renowned music educator,” said Brownell. “In January we will be committing to one of two of these festivals.”
One of the festivals is out of Los Angeles and sails to Ensenada, Mexico. The second, and the first choice of the choir, is a trip that sails out of Miami and travels to Nassau, Coco Cay and Key West.
The choir welcomes donations at the luncheon to support their fundraising efforts, so please come prepared to donate if you can!
The Dec. 5 luncheon will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tango Café and is open to everyone in the community, men and women. The cost is $21 or $16 if you are a member of 7B Women, Inc. Individual memberships cost $35 per year and can be paid online at the group’s website, 7BWomen.com.
Please note that due to the high participation in the past and so Tango Café can adequately prepare for the luncheon, pre-registration is highly encouraged.
If people would like an opportunity to promote their business at the luncheon, attendees are asked to bring an item to raffle and will be given a “minute with the mic” during the course of the luncheon.
