Trey Flint, left, and Cody Shepherd were named Sandpoint Homecoming King and Queen on Friday night during the football game against Lake City at Barlow Stadium. Flint was one of three players who were part of the Homecoming Court. Unlike other high schools, where girls wear fancy dresses and ride in cars, Sandpoint’s halftime festivities are decidedly low-key, casual and quick, with each participant opening a box at midfield.
