OLDTOWN — A Washington state woman was injured Thursday in a rollover crash on U.S. Highway 2, according to Idaho State Police.

State police said Tina L. Carstens-Boone was driving westbound in a 2001 Toyota Camry when she failed to maintain her lane of travel. The mid-size car went into the eastbound lanes, rolled down a small embankment and came to rest on its top.

Carstens-Boone, a 55-year-old Usk resident, was partially ejected from the vehicle. Carstens-Boone, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was airlifted from the scene and flown to Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene.

The crash happened at approximately 11:16 a.m. near Albeni Falls Dam.

State police said the crash was still under investigation on Friday.
