Just a reminder that there will only be one service at First Lutheran at 9 a.m. this Sunday, Oct. 29, as the congregation commemorates the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. A special music offerings will lead this time of remembrance and anticipation of how the Holy Spirit continues to inspire and renew God’s church in all times and all places.

On Tuesday, it’s Trunk or Treat time as the Kids Alive partnership hosts the annual event from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31. First Lutheran is partnering in this ministry with Sandpoint United Methodist and members are invited to participate by dressing up for the festivities and passing out candy from our “trunks.” Kids from the community are invited!

On Thursday, Nov. 2, it’s “A Taste of Italy” at Luther Park. The cost for family/friends $18 or $10 for children 10 years old and under. Proceeds benefit the Luther Park Enhancement Fund. For information, contact the front desk to see if reservations are still available.
