William Frank Alderson, 20, of Priest River, was arrested on charges of driving without privileges and no insurance in the area of Old Priest River Road and Highway 41 in Oldtown at 3:36 p.m.

A marine incident was reported in the Trestle Lane area in Sagle at 5:21 p.m.

A reckless driver was reported in the Highway 95 area in Athol at 5:55 p.m.

A family offense was reported in the 600 block of Ockert Street in Oldtown at 6:06 p.m.

Deputies responded to the Old Range Road area near Clark Fork for a shooting call at 7:31 p.m.

Report of a 911 hang-up on Vay Road near Priest River at 9:15 p.m.

Deputies responded to the Jewel Lake Road area for an information call in Sagle at 9:41 p.m.

An information call was reported in the 6000 block Sunnyside Road at 8:05 p.m.

Aug. 21

A family offense was reported in the 1600 block of Sagle Creek Road at 12:15 a.m.

Report of a reckless driver in the area of Highway 95 and Homestead Road in Athol at 1:21 a.m.

A family offense was reported in the 800 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 1:56 a.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

Aug. 20

A suspicious male reported in the E. Superior Street area was contacted at 6:34 a.m.

A reported reckless driver was found in the ditch on Fifth Avenue having a medical issue at 9:41 a.m.; he was treated by EMS.

An unfounded residential alarm was reported in the 500 block of Lakeview Lane at 10:39 a.m.

After a complaint at 1:12 p.m., an officer check on several trucks and RVs parked along the roadway in the area of N. Boyer and Church and advised they were all legally parked.

Daniel J. Jank, 61, of LKA, Ohio, was arrested on a charge of petit theft after taking a bicycle from the 800 block of Fifth Avenue at 1:21 p.m.

Officers and EMS checked on a male who fell in the 1300 block of Highway 2 at 2:20 p.m.

An officer checked on a truck and trailer blocking access to a residence in the 200 block of S. Fourth Avenue at 2:42 p.m.

While the reporting party still on the phone with dispatch, a vehicle with dogs inside left the area of the 1500 block of Pine Street after a complaint at 3:45 p.m.

A driver’s license found in the Bridge Street area was turned in to the police department at 4:41 p.m.

A follow-up report was taken on Fifth Avenue at 6:51 p.m.

A missing dog in the Forest Avenue area was located by its owner at 9:47 p.m. and returned home.

Aug. 21

An officer contacted a male juvenile sleeping in his vehicle near Sandpoint Middle School on S. Division Avenue at 2:25 a.m.; he was issued a verbal warning for curfew.

Aug. 20

An officer located a suspicious subject in the area of Fifth and Cedar during an assist at 6:34 a.m.

An officer responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 400 block of Oak Street at 7:25 a.m.

Report of a non-injury accident in the area of Highway 200 and Emerald Industrial Park Road at 9:41 a.m.

Daniel J. Jank, 61, of Worthington, Ohio, was cited on a theft charge in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 12:33 p.m.

A runaway juvenile was reported on Dustarr Lane at 7:19 p.m.

Report of a theft on Larch Street at 3:45 p.m.

An officer assisted deputies on Ockert Street in Oldtown at 6:06 p.m.
