The Wampus Cats opened their season with a 42-0 shutout of Timberline in a White Star League clash. The Wampus Cats (1-1) played up Friday night and traveled to Selkirk, taking on the bigger school from Ione, Washington. The Cats lost a heart breaker in triple overtime.
