City seeking bids on equipment

KOOTENAI — Need playground equipment? The city of Kootenai may just have what you are looking for.

The City Council want to dispose of the following surplus property — a 2008 Rainbow Play Systems – Super Sized Rainbow/Monster and King Kong Castle. The equipment is valued at $1,200.

The city is taking bids starting at $1,200 for the existing playground equipment located at Mathias Schmidt Park. The equipment will be sold as is. Detached play units will not be included.

Bidding deadline is Sept. 18.

Highest bidder will be responsible to dismantle and remove the existing equipment by September 30, 2017.
