Prep expo is today

SANDPOINT — The second annual Bonner County Citizens Preparedness Expo is being held at the Bonner County Fairgrounds today.

It runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The all-day workshop will offer tips, discussions and displays on food and water storage, alternative energy, securing homes, packing go bags and emergency communications. There will also be information on wilderness first aid, types of emergencies to prepare for and sheltering in place.

The event is sponsored by Bonner County Emergency Management, Raindrop Northwest Message Therapy, Bob Pitts & Sons Well Drilling, Sand Creek Custom Wear and Litehouse Foods. Vendors include Thrivelife Freeze Dried Foods, Young Living Essential Oils, Bee Safe Security, Gruner’s Sales, Independent Energy Systems, Bonner Concrete and Off Grid 48.
