3rd annual Swing Fore a Cure on tap
Golf tourney at StoneRidge a fundraiser for Cystinosis research
SANDPOINT — Have fun and raise money for a worthy cause by signing you and your friends up for the 3rd annual Swing Fore a Cure golf tournament coming up on Friday, Sept. 29 at StoneRidge Golf Course in Blanchard.
The four person scramble is a fundraiser for “24 Hours for Hank” and Cystinosis research, and will tee off with a shotgun start at noon following registration at 11 a.m.
The entry fee is $500 per team and includes golf, cart, range balls and a Bar-B-Q dinner, with extra dinner tickets available for family and friends. To register, visit www.24hoursforhank.org and click on the Current Events tab. Space is limited to just 36 teams and spots are filling up fast, so act now to guarantee your spot.
There are some great prizes, including a new car for any golfer lucky enough to ace the Hole-in-one hole, and some fun games planned for a few of the holes.
All proceeds go directly to Cystinosis research and every dollar brings those affected that much closer to a cure. The advancements in treatments for the complications caused by Cystinosis has helped extend, and improve, the lives of those living with this disease, including local Henry Sturgis.
If you are interested in sponsoring a hole, or have any additional questions, feel free to contact tournament organizer Randi Lui by phone at (208) 304-5763 or by email at Randi1982@msn.com.
