Housing projects eyed in Coolin, Cocolalla
SANDPOINT — Two new housing developments are being proposed in Bonner County.
The Bonner County Planning & Zoning Commission is scheduled to conduct public hearings on a 14-lot subdivision at Priest Lake and a nine-lot planned unit development on Cocolalla Lake on Thursday, Oct. 5.
Langley Properties, a Coeur d’Alene-based limited liability corporation, is proposing a 14-lot project at 4974 Dickensheet Road near Coolin. The hearing on the project, dubbed Merle’s Estates, starts at 5:30 p.m. in the Bonner County Administration Building.
Tim Trimble, meanwhile is seeking a conditional use permit for a nine-lot planned unit development on Lake Cocolalla. In addition to the development lots, there will also be a open space lot and a common area lot.
This project’s hearing is also set for 5:30 p.m.
Bonner County Planning Department staff reports on the development proposals are scheduled to be posted to the county’s website (bonnercounty.us) a week prior to the P&Z hearings.
