A case was assigned to cover an agency asset in the area of Highway 41 and Industrial Park Avenue in Spirit Lake at 9:26 p.m.

A reckless driver was reported in the 25000 block of Highway 41 in Blanchard at 9:22 p.m.

Sept. 6

Travis Coffey of Newport, Wash., was arrested on Highway 2 in Oldtown at 1:17 a.m. on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Report of a 911 hang-up in the 200 block of Sherman Street in Priest River at 12:28 a.m.

An injury accident was reported on Highway 57 in Priest River at 4:54 a.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

Sept. 5

A follow-up report was taken on Cedar Street at 7:19 a.m.

No problems were noted in the 100 block of Pine Street after an alarm was reported at 8:18 a.m.

A follow-up report was taken on Cedar Street at 9:57 a.m.

A vehicle that had been reported earlier in the day was located by the owner in the area of S. Third Avenue and W. Lake Street at 10:20 a.m.

An officer answered questions in the 400 block of N. Lincoln Avenue at 11:23 a.m.

Possible harassment was reported in the 1400 block of N. Boyer Avenue at 12:54 p.m.

A resident in the 1300 block of Westwood Lane was concerned at 1:03 p.m. about people working outside due to the smoke.

An officer assisted Health & Welfare with a home visit on Forest Avenue at 3:53 p.m.

Accidental panic alarm activation was reported in the 1500 block of Highway 2 at 4:01 p.m.

Officers contacted a male and female arguing in the 100 block of Second Avenue at 4:46 p.m. and advised nothing physical occurred.

An officer answered a citizen’s questions in the 700 block of Sixth Avenue at 6:17 p.m.

A reported reckless driver in the Highway 95 area in Sagle was located by officers at 8:21 p.m.; he was not impaired.
