I love the new street configuration. It does make me slow down and be more attentive and thoughtful about driving.
Previously, the town felt like just a dying throughway to get to some other place. Now, driving east on Cedar welcomes me into a charming scene with people strolling and the beautiful bridge against the stunning lake backdrop. The turn into City Beach is an opportunity for attentive and polite interaction with pedestrians and other drivers. I appreciate the increased angled parking.
I want to thank the engineers, planners and administrators who were involved. It seems more human, charming, more vital. Like a village of people who work and live together in a harmonious fashion.
