Those who are against the removal of Confederate monuments say it is the removal of history. I agree with President Donald Trump when he said: “Where does it end?” Instead of removing the history of the Confederate south we should be embracing and adding to it.
So my suggestion is, rather than removing Confederate monuments, erect new statues next to them. These statues should be of naked black slaves in chains or black men who have been lynched. After all, slavery, segregation and the lynching of innocent blacks is southern Confederate history too and should not be forgotten.
