If you are a Democrat or independent voter or a moderate, regular conservative Republican you need to call Sens. Mike Crapo and James Risch and implore them — threaten them with loss of your vote next time — telling them not to vote for the last-ditch attempt of the Republican Congress to kill health care for 20 to 30 million Americans.

With no bipartisan discussion or no open workshops (the ACA took over a year of open workshops before it passed), the Republicans want to ram through this horrible Graham-Cassidy bill before Sept. 30. After that date if they want to help make health insurance less costly, or make it better, they will have to engage in open workshops and work with the Democrats. Tweet President Donald Trump and remind him that he said, “more people will be covered” under “Trump Care” and there will “no cuts to Medicaid.” He made those promises over and over. Were they lies? Does he just care about a “win?”

If you care about your fellow man and you can’t stand mean-spirited ideology and ego taking away the provision against insurance companies being able to exclude you from health insurance because of pre-existing conditions; if you want your insurance to cover preventive care and wellness exams; if you want your insurance to cover mental health for addiction problems; if you want lower income working people and children to get health care; if you want our local hospitals and health centers to NOT lose jobs because they have fewer patients, then call Sens. Risch and Crapo. Soon. Read about the bill the Republicans propose. Don’t just listen to Fox News.
