Event celebrates equality, diversity

SANDPOINT — Area residents are invited to attend an event today meant to showcase how the community embraces diversity and equality.

The event, dubbed the Equinox for Equality, will be held at Farmin Park from 5-7 p.m. In case of rain, check bulletin board at Farmin Park for indoor location.

The event will include music, speakers, and informational booths from various organizations.

Co-sponsors for the event include the Bonner County Human Rights Task Force, Sandpoint Indivisible, 350Sandpoint.org, Bonner County Democrats, North Idaho Pride Alliance, and Sandpoint PFLAG.
