READY! workshops start Oct. 14

SANDPOINT — READY! For Kindergarten, free Saturday morning workshops in Sandpoint, get underway on Oct. 14.

READY! Is a national program offering early childhood literacy classes for parents/grandparents/primary caregivers of children from birth to age 5 (before Kindergarten). Free childcare is provided for children from 13 months to 11 years (under 12 months may attend with their parent).

You’ll learn how to play with a purpose with your child and to help develop the important skills they will need when they start school. The Fall Session focuses on Learning and Literacy. You’ll take home free, fun, educational toys, games, books and activities. Pre-registration is required: www.readysandpoint.org or 208-263-7040 by Oct. 11. Sandpoint’s READY!
