Hutchings earns spot on dean’s list

Jessica Hutchings, student at Idaho State University’s School of Nursing, has earned a place on the Kasiska Division of Health Sciences dean’s list.

Hutchings achieved a grade point average of 3.88 during the summer 2017.

She is continuing her studies with plans to return to Sandpoint and Bonner General Health in the summer of 2018.

SCC announces spring honor roll

The spring 2017 honor roll list at Spokane Community College includes more than 2,100 students. To receive honor roll status, students must earn a 3.0 grade point average or higher and be full time (at least 12 credits).

Among the local students who earned the honor were Elisa Williams of Priest River, Vivian Reynolds of Priest River, and Linda Snider of Oldtown.

Spokane Community College is one of the largest community colleges in the state and serves more than 20,000 students every year. SCC has provided college transfer, career-technical and adult basic educational opportunities to hundreds of thousands of students in Eastern Washington since 1963. The main campus is located in Spokane, but there are centers in Colville, Newport, Republic, Ione and Inchelium.

to SFCC honor roll

The spring 2017 honor roll list at Spokane Falls Community College includes more than 1,800 students. To receive honor roll status, students must earn a 3.0 grade point average or higher and be full-time (at least 12 credits). Among those from Bonner and Boundary counties who earned the distinction were Alina Bashinskaya of Blanchard and Nikki Burdick of Naples.
