RATHDRUM — Casey Shaha, Riley Walkington and Hadley Marshall each scored first half goals, leading the Bulldog girls to a 3-1 win over Lakeland in 4A Inland Empire League soccer Thursday at Lakeland High School.

“The three goals we scored were great goals, they all smashed their goals into the upper corners,” said Bulldog head coach Conor Baranski, praising the play of Kiley Webster, who picked up two assists. “Kiley has earned a starting spot. She’s been playing incredibly well. Tori Hewitt has really come on toward the end of the season.”

The Bulldogs (7-2-1, 3-0 4A IEL) remained perfect in league play, but Baranski wasn’t pleased with his team’s effort in the second half.

“That was probably the low point of our season,” he said. “We were sloppy, forcing the ball into our attacking third when we didn’t need to.”
