CITY OF EAST HOPE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given, that the City of East Hope, Bonner County, Idaho will hold a public hearing to receive any and all testimony, both written and oral, concerning the proposed water meter rate increase and the inclusion of the water bond payment per monthly billing cycle. The proposed increase to the water meter rate increases the per "ER" Base Rate by 5% from $29.88 to $31.38 plus $30 for the Water Improvement Bond for a total base rate of $61.38 per "ER" (Equivalent Residential Use). The Water Improvement Bond passed at the May 20, 2014 election. Also the proposed 5 % increase of the, per thousand gallons of water rate is from $2.01 to $2.11. The 5% increase to the base rate and the, per thousand gallon rate is to cover the cost increase of maintenance and operations. The Public Hearing will be held at the East Hope City Hall, 110 School Road, at the regular October 10, 2017 council meeting starting at 5:30 p.m. Written statements longer than one (1) standard letter-sized, single spaced page must be submitted no later than 6 calendar days prior to the public hearing.
