ADDENDUM #1 EXTENDING BID OPENING DATE TO APRIL 10, 2018 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BONNER COUNTY PARKS & WATERWAYS GARFIELD BAY CAMPGROUND WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS, 2018 BONNER COUNTY, IDAHO Sealed bids will be received for the Garfield Bay Campground Water System Improvements 2018, Attn: Bonner County Commissioners Office, 1500 Highway 2, Ste. 308, Sandpoint, Idaho 83864, until 1:00 p.m. local time, April 10, 2018 which is extended from March 28, 2018. The project includes installation of approximately 4,300 feet of 2" HDPE water pipe, booster pump, site piping and valves, 23 hose bib service connections along with new underground electrical feeders to an existing well pump and the campground host site. NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT This serves as notice that the Board of Bonner County Commissioners intends to contract with Demers Ambulance for the sole source procurement of a Mercedes Benz Sprinter 2500 diesel ambulance. This sole source procurement is in accordance with Idaho Code § 67-2808(2), and approved by the Board of Bonner County Commissioners on the 27th day of March 2018. The reason for the sole source procurement from Demers Ambulance is they have the 2017-2018 Chassis for this vehicle is unobtainable and Demers has several that were preordered and ready for use. This is the only company within 1500 miles that actively converts sprinter type vans into ambulances. This company fully meets Bonner County's needs.
