National conceal carry reciprocity is dead. The NRA’s push to get the entire nation to accept their proposal for every state be forced to allow everyone with a conceal carry permit to carry their gun into a state not issued by that state, is never going to happen. It’s a state’s right issue. Many states that have done so are now regretting it.

The Second Amendment allows for gun possession by everyone legally qualified to own one, but that right does not extend to everyone without limits, and some states are pushing back. I have been making the point, that more guns, in more hands, do not make us safer. Schools, streets and cops are being shot up at an alarming rate and, in many states, they are seeing more crimes, more suicides, and more accidental gun deaths. The body counts don’t lie.
