'Journey' to aid Panida
“The Journey of Light” — the Music Conservatory of Sandpoint’s fundraiser for the Panida — features the combined efforts of the Bel Canto Opera Northwest, the Pend Oreille Chorale under the direction of Mark and Caren Reiner dancer Autumn Whitley, and cellist Sam Minker.
On Sunday, you are not going to want to miss the Music Conservatory of Sandpoint’s fundraiser for the Panida, as Bel Canto Opera Northwest teams up with the Pend Oreille Chorale under the direction of Mark and Caren Reiner in a performance that features dancer Autumn Whitley and cellist Sam Minker.
The event begins at 7 p.m. at the Panida, 300 N. First Ave.
The “Journey of Light” opera experience embarks on a journey to find the illuminous light. The collaborative performance with the Pend Oreille Chorale will take place under the direction the Reiners.
Bel Canto Opera Northwest and Panida Theater officials said they are excited to collaborate in an effort to continue to light the marquee at the Panida Theater for many years to come. All profits from this event will be donated toward the continued success of the Panida.
Admission is $15 adults, $10 youth 18 and under, available at panida.org, The Music Conservatory of Sandpoint, 110 Main Street, or at the door the night of the performance.
