Deputies were assigned an unknown injury accident call in the 20000 block of Highway 41 in Spirit Lake at 12:46 a.m.
Deputies assisted Priest River Police on Gregory Street at 1:30 a.m.
Drug paraphernalia was locate by K9, Nova, on an open area search in the 5700 block of Highway 2 in Priest River at 2:02 a.m.
SANDPOINT POLICE
April 1
An officer assisted the county on a call on Bonner Mall Way in Ponderay after a report of an unsecured building at 5 a.m.; employees had already arrived for the day.
An alarm was reported in the 800 block of Airport Way at 5:50 a.m.; the building was secure.
A follow-up report was taken on Samuelson Avenue at 7:49 a.m.
A witness statement left at the police department at 10:33 a.m. referred to alleged crimes happening in Washington and southern Idaho.
A dog in the 800 block of Spruce Street was returned to its owners at 1:11 p.m.
An officer assisted Ponderay Police in the Highway 95 area at 2:23 p.m.
An officer was unable to locate a reported reckless driver in the 1100 block of Michigan Street at 2:35 p.m.
A follow-up report was taken on Lakeview Boulevard at 2:42 p.m.
Custodial interference was reported in the Highway 95 area at 2:23 p.m.
A racial slur was written in chalk on the sidewalk in the 300 block of Halley Street at 5:15 p.m. but it had been washed away by the weather prior to the officer’s arrival.
An officer was unable to check the welfare of an adult male in the 900 block of Alder Street; he was already gone from the residence at 6:34 p.m.
Kimberly L. Sawhill, 29, of Sandpoint, was cited on Larch Street on a charge of petit theft at 7:36 p.m.
Officers advised they were unable to locate anyone in the 900 block of Fir Street after a report of a possible prowler at 8:20 p.m.
Officers contacted a male and female in the 1500 block of Hickory Street who were involved in a verbal domestic at 11:03 p.m.
Officers contacted the operators of a vehicle driving down the road in the area of S. First Avenue and W. Superior Street at 11:37 p.m. with the horn honking and the lights flashing, due to an equipment malfunction. The officers provided a temporary fix.

April 1
An officer took a report of information in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 7:36 a.m.
An officer took an animal problem report in the area of Kootenai Cutoff Road and Highway 200 at 11:25 a.m.
An officer assisted a citizen in the 1100 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 12:13 p.m.
An officer assisted Sandpoint Police in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 2:23 p.m.
An officer responded to the 477200 block of Highway 95 in reference to suspicious activity in the area at 8:45 p.m.
