The men will mobilize at Sandpoint under direction of the county exemption board during the five days beginning April 26 when they will entrain for Camp Lewis. The call only applies to white men “for general military service.” They are to be drawn from class No. 1 and taken according to their order number, unless regularly and assiduously engaged in agricultural pursuits, in which event they are exempted for the time being.

TO RECRUIT L.L.L.L. HERE
Lieutenant Hall, recruiting the Loyal Legion of Loggers and Lumbermen, arrived in the city yesterday and will remain in Bonner county for two weeks. Every man engaged in lumber work in the county will be asked to enlist in this branch of Uncle Sam’s service and while enlisting will not take them from their present work it will furnish the government with a complete list of those who are loyal in these war times.
