April 3

An officer answered a citizen’s questions in the 900 block of Ridley Village Road at 7:05 a.m.

A found lunch bag on Forest Avenue at 8:50 a.m. was discarded by the officer.

The owners of a rooster in the 500 block of Boyer Avenue were advised the animals were not allowed within city limits at 11:36 a.m.

An officer was unable to locate an elderly male reported to be walking in the Oak Street area after a welfare check request at 12:54 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate the source of a 911 hang-up call on Sixth Avenue at 1:05 p.m.

Clinton P Burrill, 45, of Colbert, Wash., was arrested in the 1600 block of Main Street at 1:54 p.m. on an assault charge; and Alexey V. Helmuth, 19, of Kootenai, was arrested at the same time and location on a felony warrant out of Kootenai County

Officers were unable to locate a dog reported to be at large in the Highway 2 area at 2:21 p.m.

Officers were unable to catch a dog at large reported in the Pine Street area at 2:50 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate any dogs barking in the 1300 block of Vineyard Drive at 4:24 p.m.

Possible harassment was reported in the 1600 block of Main Street at 4:37 p.m.

Officers assisted Selkirk Fire personnel with a small electrical fire in the 600 block of Division Avenue at 6:34 p.m.

A possible battery was placed under investigation in the 1300 block of Larch Street at 9:53 p.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Lakeview Boulevard at 11:14 p.m.

An officer responded to a report of a recovered stolen vehicle reported on Highway 95 at 8:51 a.m.

An officer assisted a citizen on Highway 95 at 9:53 a.m.

Suicidal threats were reported in the Highway 95 area at 10:04 a.m.

An officer assisted a citizen on Kootenai Cutoff Road at 4:55 p.m.

Officer responded to the 477200 block of Highway 95 for an alarm activation at 11:11 p.m.

Jonathan L. Comstock, 26, of Sandpoint was cited in the area of highways 95 and 200 at 12:35 a.m. on charges of possession of marijuana (less than 3 ounces), and possession of paraphernalia with the intent to use.
