SANDPOINT POLICE

April 8

Officers checked on a locked restroom in the 400 block of Cedar Street at 6:06 a.m.; there was no one inside.

An out-of-state citizen was referred to the BCSO civil division for assistance at 10:31 a.m.

A male was trespassed from a residence in the 300 block of S. Florence Avenue at 1:38 p.m. after causing problems there.

An unknown vehicle reportedly struck a parked vehicle in the 300 block of Iberian Way at 2:02 p.m.

An officer assisted Ponderay Police in the 1100 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 3:01 p.m.

Two juveniles were issued verbal warnings against laying down in the roadway after a complaint of a juvenile problem on Church Street at 4:30 p.m.

A 17-year-old Ponderay male was issued a promise to appear on a charge of malicious injury to property reported after a complaint of a slashed tire in the 1200 block of Larch Street at 5:39 p.m.

An officer advised that a citizen in the 700 block of Forest Avenue was able to get a locksmith at 5:43 p.m. to get the keys out of her running vehicle.

An elderly male was given a courtesy transport back to his hotel from Bonner General Health on N. Third Avenue at 8:16 p.m.

An officer spoke to an out-of-state citizen at 9:32 p.m. regarding an investigation occurring in Washington. The suspect lived in Sandpoint at one time.
