NIC to present 'Vox Feminea'
The North Idaho College Cardinal Chorale, Chamber Singers, and members of the Cardinal Chamber Orchestra will present the “Vox Feminea” concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, at First Presbyterian Church at 521 E. Lakeside Ave. in Coeur d’Alene.
“Vox Feminea” will feature the works of female composers spanning four centuries. “Vox Feminea” or “The Feminine Voice” celebrates the works Isabella Leonarda, Fanny Hensel, Pauline Oliveros, Abbie Bettinis, and Northwest Composers Giselle Wyers, Karen Thomas, and Joan Szymko.
Because of an ongoing renovation project at the church, the Sanctuary is not ADA accessible for this concert. Entrance to the concert will be at the church’s main doors.
